The kit looks like it will be a good platform for doing stuff once you get a new motion designer in there though. Aibo eat your heart out!

Cheap and nasty as the Joinmax is (about 330 usd last I checked), they actually intended to replace Aibo. Whew! Ambitions... :)

Hehe somehow I don't think the Joinmax is going to replace the last generation Aibo - those things were looking pretty slick before they trashed the robotics department.
Actually, last I heard toyota was thinking of buying it to boost their robotics division...
